The characteristic feature of this appellation area is that it is located at altitudes higher than those of the Côte de Beaune.
The Domaine's plot is at 440 meters of altitude in the beautiful village of Orches.
The soils here are composed of clay-chalk and stones.
The Chardonnay vines come from a single hectare and the vines average 40 years old.
All grapes are hand-harvested
Aged for one year in 228L oak casks that average between 4-6 years.
