A skin contact wine, crafted with artisanal care in Languedoc, France to produce a masterpiece with strength and intensity, forged from a 15-day maceration period, followed by a 6-month ageing process in oak barrels. Producer Information

Founded in 2012, Opi d'Aqui, or "Opium from Here" in Occitan, is a brand encased in a rich tapestry of global wine-making experiences. Before the brand was formed, its founder, Philippe Formentin, a natural artisan wine producer, embarked on a global wine adventure from India to Corsica before finally settling down in Clermont-l'Hérault, France upon meeting his destined business partner, Alain Coumont. Located in Languedoc-Rousillon region of Southern France, the estate is now owned by our group's founder, Cynthia Chua in partnership with Benjamin Darnaud, and will continue the tradition of cultivating vines using organic and biodynamic methods with the aim of producing lighter style wines that are suitable for all occasions.
