The skin contact version of Grand Cru Kaefferkopf. Aged 24 months in big old wood barrel and 24 months sur lie. First aromas are tropical fruits, like melon, and passion fruit, then slowly reveals stone fruits, like peach and nectarine as well as orange peel and some floral aromas of chamomile and elderflower. On the palate, you also get passion fruit, and nectarine, giving a first impression of roundness, but then it shrinks into a nice lean, dry and citrusy finish, with a touch of bitterness.
