Bright nose with aromas of with redcurrant, plum and black cherries, with hints of white pepper. The palate is packed and velvety, this wine has character, good structure and elegant tannins. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
The Santenay appellation is located in the south of the Côte de Beaune.
The two parcels of the Domaine are located in the middle of "Clos Rousseau" each is delimited at the top and below by a dry stone wall.
The vines are planted on clay, chalk and stony soils, and average around 45 years-old.
Rested on lees for one year and aged for one year in 228L oak casks averaging 1-6 years-old.
