Ensayo de Burbujas 2016
Region: Granada, Spain
Grape: Vigiriega
Style: Creamy and ripe wine
Mineral, powerful, fruity, with aromas of candied quince and apple. Slightly floral. The palate combines fullness and tension, with a fresh substance. Despite its freshness and liveliness, it is solid and dense. The whole is abundant, generous with fine and creamy bubbles.
Made from Vigiriega - a Spanish white wine grape variety that is grown in the Canary Islands and in Andalusia. Almost forgotten since the Phylloxera epidemic at the end of the 19th Century. Prized for its high acidity, makes it very suitable for making sparkling wines in hot regions.
