5 Bites / 5 Wines Sep 2021

You missed the Partner in Wine 5 Bites / 5 Wines of September 2021, or just like to relive it again. Here is the selection of September's edition.

Bubulle 2019, Lise et Bertrand Jousset

    Region: Montlouis-Sur-Loire, France

    Grapes: Chenin Blanc

    Style: Ancestral sparkling

A rare aged pet-nat! Beautifully developed aromas of honey, baked apple, flowers and mushrooms wrapped in yeasty notes of baked pastry. The palate starts off smooth and fresh, becomes rich mid-way and finishes tight and chalky.

    "Rosé d'Orches" 2020, Domaine Bonnardot

Region: Hautes Côtes de Beaune, France

    Grape: Pinot Noir

    Style: Delicate and fragrant rosés

The nose presents beautiful aromas of gooseberry, rhubarb, blood orange and flowers. The palate is round at first with flavours of red currant and gooseberry and turns to a crispy and mineral finish. Very refreshing and mouth-watering.

Hinterberg Assemblage 2012, Domaine Christian Binner

    Region: Alsace, France

Grapes: Riesling, Auxerrois, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris

    Style: Aromatic and fragrant white

Initially, the profile is rich and broad, with nuances of honey, ripe cantaloupe, and sightly baked apple, follows with aromas of peach and ripe pears. Then tightens up with a polished but undeniably fresh and mineral style at the end. This wine is fruity and juicy, flavoursome and generous. It remains long, punchy and energetic.

    Noir 2011, Paraschos

    Region: Venezia Giulia Rosso, Italy

    Grape: Pinot Noir

    Style: Ripe and elegant red

Very elegant organoleptic profile, exploding in red and blackberries, with tobacco, wet leaves, menthol and black olives aromas, with an enveloping intensity. Light to med texture, soft tannins and a long-lasting finish.

The "Noir Special Vintage" by Paraschos is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, aged for 60 months on yeasts in used 5 hectolitre oak barrels. It comes from a small vineyard at the foot of Mount Sabotino, resting on a soil based on very rare blue marl.

Limari 2013, Terroirs Bogus by Christophe Beau

    Region: Marga-Marga Valle, Chile

    Grape: Moscatel de Alejandria

Style: Semi-Sweet, Aromatic and fragrant white

The Limari displays complex aromas of ripe apricots, peaches, and exotic fruit, which are complemented by floral and citrus notes. This semi-sweet moscatel is a melting pot of tastes from ripe tropical fruits, little bitterness like apricot skin and perfectly balanced acidity from the citrus. Beautiful, delicate and complex.
