Réjouissances 2017
Region: VdF Loire, France
Grapes: Pineau d'Aunis, Grolleau
Style: Fragrant and light red
From 50 year old parcels of Pineau d'Aunis and Grolleau co-fermented. This light-bodied red, offers nice aromas of cedar, red and black fruits, sour cherries, and spice. The palate punches above its weight with intense fresh raspberries, earthy characters, savory black olive tapenade flavors, and lively acidity. The acidity helps the product to finish the tasting with great cleanliness and dryness. Réjouissance will certainly blend with plenty of dishes like pasta, fried rice, pâtés, and cured meat. Or just enjoy it while cooking.
